Summer Karasujo Togenkyo is now open | Kurashiki Royal Art Hotel

The summer Karasujo Togenkyo event is now underway!

Okayama Castle is celebrating its first summer since its renovation. Okayama Castle is nicknamed "Ujo (Crow Castle)" due to its black-lacquered exterior. This year's Ujo Togenkyo will light up Okayama Castle and its surroundings in summery colors, creating a Japanese atmosphere that can only be experienced at this time of year.

Event time 18:00 - 21:30 (Entry to Okayama Castle tower is until 21:00)
Admission Fee Adults (15 years and over) 400 yen, elementary and junior high school students 100 yen * Free admission for preschool children
* Admission to areas other than the castle tower is free.

From the hotel, it takes about 17 minutes from JR Kurashiki Station to JR Okayama Station, and from JR Okayama Station, take the tram (Okayama Station → Castle Town) for about 4 minutes, then walk for a few minutes to reach Okayama Castle.
