About the Takahashi River Basin "Kurashiki Sansai City"

The morning market "Kurashiki Sansai Market," held on the third Sunday of every month, was started in 2005 to bring excitement to downtown Kurashiki. The venue is around the shopping arcade in front of Kurashiki Station, about a 10-minute walk from Kurashiki Royal Art Hotel. In 2016, it was upgraded to "Takahashi River Basin Kurashiki Sansai Market" in order to further promote the appeal of the seven cities and three towns in the Takahashi River basin.
Locally produced gourmet food and specialties from the river basin are available from one end of the shopping street to the other. The Kurashiki Sansai Market, where local producers gather, is also an attractive opportunity to interact with local people. There are also events that children can enjoy.

Food Truck Day

Kurashiki Sansai Market regularly holds a "Kitchen Car Day." Gourmet food trucks using local ingredients gather at Megumi Square. You can chat with the vendors and enjoy freshly cooked food with the locals.

ALL Basin Day

There will also be an "ALL Basin Day" that will spotlight the entire Takahashi River Basin. Special stalls will be set up from each city and town along the Takahashi River. Even locals can enjoy local gourmet food and exquisite sweets that they don't usually get to try.
