Workshop Announcement

The "Kurashiki Girls Collection" was launched in December 2018.
This is a team of women who run a workshop that transforms local materials and traditional industries that have been passed down in Kurashiki City into items that can be used in everyday life.

We will be holding our first workshop at Kurashiki Royal Art Hotel. Anyone staying at the hotel, guests eating at the restaurant, or even those not staying at the hotel can participate.
Please feel free to come and make some summer vacation memories.

Workshop Contents

♢Making a tatami-bordered pencil case or card case
・Participation fee: 1,000 yen
・Time required: 15-20 minutes
(We will use tatami border to make a pen case and card case.)

♢Setouchi Uroko Ballpoint Pen Making
・Participation fee: 1200 yen
・Time required: Approximately 30 minutes
(This ballpoint pen is made from fish scales caught in the Seto Inland Sea, which have been washed and dyed.)

♢Make your own original canvas pouch with a stamp
・Participation fee: 1,000 yen
・Time required: Approximately 30 minutes
(You can make your own original pouch by stamping an illustration on Kurashiki canvas.)

Kurashiki Royal Art Hotel 1st floor lobby
There are limited parking spaces available. Guests coming by car are kindly requested to use the nearby paid parking lots.
(Guests staying at the hotel or using the restaurant should speak to the hotel staff.)
